The Louisiana Department of ChildrenandFamilyServices (DCFS) continued its Foster Care Community Listening Tour with a gathering in Baton Rouge, where foster caregivers, advocates, and community partners shared their lived experiences to help guide improvements to the childwelfare system. This program places the responsibility for the support of children on their parents in an attempt to reduce the children's dependence on public assistance.
